| | Residential Energy Co-op - Residential Energy Co-op IS NOW available to Taneytown Chamber of Commerce Members and their Employees (active and retired-non-active). Non-Profit Organizations who are members of the Taneytown Chamber may have both employees and an active voting membership. For determining eligibility for participation in our Residential Energy Co-op, our Chamber is defining, in this case, the “member” is the entire Non-Profit Organization or its membership since each member has an active role in the Non-Profit Organization’s management. For example, a church whose Non-Profit Organization is a member of the Taneytown Chamber of Commerce will also include their church membership as eligible to participate. Our Chamber allows individuals who are non-business owners to join our Chamber as long as they support our mission. So anyone who wishes to be a part of our Residential Energy Co-op may do so if they join our Chamber and pay the individual dues and then sign up for the Co-op.
