General Questions | Community Service When does the Chamber of Commerce help with the flags around town? The Chamber of Commerce places the flags around town each Labor Day. The flags are stored in one of the Police Department's buildings. | Conduct of Business What is the business year for the Chamber of Commerce? The Taneytown Chamber of Commerce's business year begins November 1st and ends October 31 of the following year. Business/Corporate (3 Membership votes, any number of representatives) $143 for the first year and $121 each year to renew.
Each business membership shall be entitled to a maximum of 3 votes. Any number of representatives from each business membership may attend regular meetings. A Business Membership may be selected for any business, including, but not limited to, a Sole Proprietorship, Corporation, Limited Liability Corporation, Partnership or Limited Liability Partnership.
